5 Star Team: Stevi Hillman

Stevi Hillman

Stevi Hillman lives in Weatherford, Texas. She has been using 5 Star products for years. Stevi's favorite pad is the 7/8" Barrel Racer. She is currently competing on Cuatro Fame AKA "Truck" and 11 year old bay gelding and Luv My Fame AKA "Layla" a 6 year old sorrel mare. Both horses are by Dash Ta Fame.We asked Stevi how she mentally prepares herself before competiion? She stated, "I spend quite time at my trailer getting my horse ready and visualize my run and how it feels. Thetn when I warm up, I try to stay relaxed. Not getting too serious and keep a composed focus...and enjoy it!"

Stevi's TIP: Keep your horse happy. That usually means Truck will get a massage the night before, even if we get somewhere at 1 AM! Know your horse, really know them.

My Trusty Rusty and I tend to go on long trail rides. His back used to get sore. But sense we started using Five Star he doesn't anymore. He's tried all of the other brands, and nothing compares!

My Husband recently bought me a 5 Star saddle pad for Christmas. I could tell as soon as I pulled it out the box it was very different from any other saddle pads I had purchased. A good different!! I'm anxiously awaiting to buy me a liner to start riding it! Thank you 5 star for my Christmas!

I had my saddle taken in to check fit and they recommended your company. This contoured his back so well it improved how my saddle fit his back. We haven't had problems since! I love that I got to customize my pad making it unique to me. Thanks for making such a quality product!

I bought my first 5 Star pad over 15 years ago. I have had several over the years. When I started looking to replace it and become a dealer I inquired to everyone I could about what was the finest saddle pad made. I always heard about this little outfit in Arkansas called 5 Star.
