5 Star Fully Lined Fleece Half Pad (1/4, 1/2)
5 Star’s Fully Lined Fleece Half Pad is our most luxurious of our half pad range designed to be used over your daily pad and under your saddle. The fully lined sheepskin can help reduce excess rider movement as well as boosting protection and comfort. Our raised wither profile accommodates even the sharpest of withers while the customizable spine leather marries the contoured 100% Virgin Wool Felt for impeccable saddle fit and maximum protection for both horse and rider’s backs during training and showing. It’s ideal for stock, semi-custom, and custom saddles for ideal shock absorption without affecting rider feel or saddle fit. This added shock absorption improves the horse’s comfort, general way of going as well, and the rider’s equitation. Our 100% pure virgin wool felt wicks away moisture, cleans up easily, and provides non-slip properties for maximum stability. Our pads are durable with many still in use after 15+ years! Hand-made in the USA! Do not machine wash.
We are here for your horse!
Absolutely love my two 5 star pads! One of my horses has a hard to fit back and the other is picky about what feels comfortable on her back. The 5 star pad has made my tricky to fit horse more comfortable in his saddle, and my picky horse isn't as cinchy or crabby anymore
In 2009, Shoii shattered the knee joint of his right hind leg, rendering unable to flex the joint once it healed. Although his body was a little beat-up, his heart certainly was not and I could tell that it was still very important to him to "take me out for a ride."
Thank you 5 star for making the best saddle pads ever I will never use another type pad.
I train cutting and reining horses. Both disciplines require a lot out of my horses, and I have never had a sore backed horse yet. I brought a few up for some clients of mine that are into western pleasure and roping, and they are as pleased as I am. In fact, I need to put in another order!
I recommend your products to everyone I meet. I honesty will NEVER go back to using impact gel, because they made my horses sore and hindered their performance. Thanks for providing the horse industry with a pad they can trust for the next years to come.
